There are many fantastic little cafes and restaurants in Mount Lawley and Fez Cafe has been on my list for quite a while.
There is a lot of space for diners indoor and outdoor. The above picture was taken before we left as I didn’t want to be rude and snap a pic with too many people in it.
Fez Cafe operates via table service which was nice on an early Sunday morning. I enjoyed reading through the menu and ordered a coffee while I was deciding.
The menu had some great choices and available all day so there is no need to rush down if it’s breakfast you are after.
I went for the Fez Poached Eggs ($19) and my fellow diner went for the Merguez Chipolata ($20).
We sipped on our coffees and chatted and looked around while we were waiting for our food.
I loved the layout of the cafe and the staff seemed friendly and helpful…and very happy!
It’s weird to say this, but the toilet was very cool as well. I love little added touches like hand moisturiser in the toilet and the other little pieces that made this a little more homely…such a weird thing to say about a toilet but it’s something you have to see for yourself to know what I’m talking about.
Anyway, our food arrived shortly after. My Fez Poached Eggs were simple but delicious. I loved the feta cheese on the dish also, it added to the poached eggs and it was bonus points for the tomato relish on the side.
