This cafe has recently popped up in Innaloo close by where I live. There were a few customers scattered around the tables indoors so we grabbed a menu and a seat.
I must say, the menu looked fantastic. We were here for breakfast but there is a lunch and dinner also and everything can be taken away. Great for those of us always in a rush!
After a good read of the menu, I went with my old favourite, Eggs Hollandaise ($19) accompanied by a Hash Brown ($3). Mr. T decided on the Breakfast Sliders ($18) and we both ordered a coffee each.
First to arrive were the Breakfast Sliders. The favourite out of the three was the Ham, cheese, spiced relish & rocket. The ham was juicy and Mr. T said he would have happily eaten three of these. This was the type of ham I was hoping for on my dish also.
My dish arrived… the presentation wasn’t very appealing and there was too much hollandaise sauce. The sauce itself wasn’t great and the ham was deli ham, I wasn’t impressed. For $3 for a single hash brown, I expected a little more than the 65c hash browns from Woolworths.
I won’t rush to revisit Lot Six Zero. It is a new cafe so maybe things will improve in time.
Somewhere I would recommend for a great breakfast in Scarborough is, Pizzaca!
