I’ve had a look back on the bucket list I wrote up at the beginning of the year. See the list here..
My aims were to tick off at least one thing a month and have it completed by the end of the year.
Here’s the progress so far…
1. The gym
There has definitely been progress, I’m now going 2-3 times a week and eating more healthily.
The season has just started so this one will happen over the next few months
3. Another Australian city
This hasn’t been checked off just yet. I’m flying home to Ireland in 5 weeks so I’m saving as much as possible.
This has been completed! Whoop whoop!
Armed with a life jacket, I snorkeled in Albany over the holidays.
6. Outdoor Cinema
I went to the outdoor cinema at King’s Park twice this summer!
7. Paint my own canvas
Not yet completed
8. Go paddleboarding
Not yet completed…there’s still time!
9. Finish a race and get a medal
I’ve got my sights set on Mud Rush this year, possibly around August.
This is planned for the second weekend in May as a friend also wants to do one before she returns to Ireland.
12. Go camping
I know why I put this one down but I’m not sure if it will happen..yet!
I like the idea of camping but not the spiders and other creepy crawlies I would fear investigating my tent while I pretended to sleep.
I’ll come back to this one!
Now that I look at my list, I haven’t done too bar so far, there are 5 things ticked off and I have a plan for two more.
I know I will be extremely disappointed in myself if I don’t complete it so my plan is to keep planning!
