I have noticed a recent trend in the use of Coffee Scrubs so I decided to recycle my Fresh One ground coffee and have a go at making my own scrub.
Many articles claim that coffee scrubs are great for cellulite. This has to be something that every female faces at some stage of their life. I hate to see the smallest dimple on my thigh but it’s life, they are there! There is no point having a whinge about it, I need to get to work on it!
After a little research, I figured out what I was going to use in my scrub.
Ingredients:
- 250g Ground Coffee- Fresh One
- 250g Facial Cleanser- Neutrogena
- 5ml Essential Oils-Lavender & Tea Tree
- 20ml Olive Oil
- Pinch of Cinnamon
How To:
- Combine all of the ingredients together
- Mix well
- Store in an airtight container
While in the shower, I used this scrub all over, particularly on areas with cellulite. Massage the scrub onto skin in a circular motion before rinsing.
Another benefit of this scrub is the addition of the essential oils. It made the scrubΒ smell great and left my skin feeling extra smooth!
Do you have a homemade coffee scrub?
