Fashion: What I Wore

Like many of you out there reading this post, I too faced the dilemma of ‘what to wear’ on New Years Eve.

I was gifted this beautiful red jumpsuit by Global Babe very recently and thought it was the perfect outfit for The Aviary’s Rooftop Party. I was asked which colour I preferred and this vibrant red caught my eye immediately. There are many great colours, check out them all!

The super fabulous Global Babe Saint Tropez Signature Jumpsuit transforms into many different versatile outfits. I am a huge fan of a jumpsuit as I find them comfortable and this one has pockets, I love pockets in my outfits. The wide legs and stretchy material meant I wouldn’t be feeling self conscious after a night of food and drinks. The great thing about this jumpsuit is the ability to take it from day to night, and the website even shows shoppers how to wear the jumpsuit. There is a style out there for everyone, here are a few of my favourites:

Hair & Make-Up

We spent a little while getting dressed up for the occasion but the jumpsuit made my preparation very time efficient! As it was quite the sweaty day here in Perth, an up-do seemed the best option. I didn’t want my hair on my neck so I played around with a loose braid from the front and a messy bun secured with bobby pins.

You may have read a recent post about the Maslow & Co beauty box released early December and they packed a fabulous set of eye lashes which both I and my friend wore, she also snapped up a box earlier in the month. Have you got one? The lashes were a perfect length for me and super easy to apply. After the photos were taken (thanks to my budding photographer friend, Ms. D), we popped open a bottle of champagne and started our celebrations before going to The Avairy Rooftop. We purchased tickets for $165 for an all inclusive food and drinks package for the night. It was a fabulous night as drinks were flowing and we were so happy to see that the venue was not overfilled.
