I was delighted to receive an invitation to attend the opening of The Federal in Fremantle over the weekend.
It was suitably from 2pm-5pm on Saturday so I had the pleasure of good blogging friend who I thought might like to check out the venue.
You may or may not know that The Federal was formerly an Irish bar called Roise O’ Gradys. On arrival, it looked like a completely different place, it was beautiful! I had a google of the venue before the change in hands and it looked quite dark and not as inviting as the place we walked into yet.
The walls were white and light bounced from corner to corner. The indoor area is rather spacious with a small courtyard in the middle. There is also a small outdoor area which I envisage to be packed throughout the summer.
Feel free to browse the pictures before you visit the venue yourself. After spending the afternoon at The Federal, it reminded me that I need to spend more time in Fremantle to see more of the new venues popping up.
