Get Your Skin Glowing With Hibou Naturel

Friday night was all about relaxing and a quick pampering session with Mini Me. As it is coming into summer, I feel like us ladies put a little more effort into our skin routines in the hope that our skin glows so much, make up is unnecessary…please say I’m not alone! I was delighted to be gifted a Deep Cleanse Clay Mask from Hibou Natural to add to my routine.

After being gifted the face mask, I did the usual google to check out the brand and what made it different to the million other face masks there are to choose from. Hibou has sourced the highest quality natural ingredients and where possible have used Australian farmed and produced or certified organic ingredients, why not support local business!wp-image-485918968jpg.jpg

Why Hibou Natural?

I was rather keen to try out the brand as it is Australian made, local to Melbourne and the ingredient list is not made up of things that you have never heard of and cannot pronounce. The mask is free from parabens, artificial fragrances & preservatives, petroleum and sulphates…sounds good to me! The mask smelled amazing, anything that smells good is appealing on another level.

Hibou Naturel is suited to all skin types, my skin would fit into the ‘combined’ category where as Mini Me would fit the ‘dry’ category. It is even suited to those with psoriasis, eczema and acne.

Was Hibou Naturel Easy To Use?

When I think of a clay mask, I picture a mask that goes on wet, dries on the skin and cracks as it dries out. This one was so easy to use, we applied a generous amount of the mask to our neck and face and it glided on the skin.

It is advised to put the mask on for 10minutes. The mask was so light on my skin, I forgot I had it on. It came off just as easily, it simply required washing with warm water and a quick rinse with cold water to close the pores again.

How Did My Skin Feel After?

As you can see, my skin looked great, it glowed and it felt great too. I was a little worried that it might have felt dry and dehydrated but it was quite the opposite. My skin felt smooth, tight and fresh. I applied my usual night serum and left it at that.

  1. You look amazing! This clay mask sounds like a really great product. I’m not a fan of the traditional clay mask bc it dries hard and makes my skin very tight.
