I’m ok with a nice mimosa with a late brunch! I decided to use my Entertainment Book here and thought I might as well have a mimosa while I’m at it.
This cafe has lots of indoor and out door seating and quite the range of choices in the menu, it was a bit overwhelming.
We had a look over the menu and I was more drawn to the Specials than what was on the menu, the Kasoundi Eggs ($19.50) in particular. Mr. B was predictable and gravitated towards the Avocado Toast with two Eggs ($24).
I was happy I ordered something from the specials when my dish arrived. It was quite the large portion with lots of different elements making up this dish. I absolutely loved the potato rosti and of course it was made better buy perfectly poached eggs. I really enjoyed the drizzle on top of the eggs comma especially with the toast. My pumpkin was a little bit hard but I probably wouldn’t have missed it if it wasn’t on the plate, the same goes for the asparagus.
Now that Mr. B on the vegetarian bandwagon and off the vegan one, he was pretty excited to see those eggs ooze.
He said the avocado lacked a little seasoning but the beetroot puree was tasty. He was also a fan of the fresh toasted bread too!
Overall, a pleasant experience at Richmond Hill Larder and I would love to disappear into the cheese room…yum!
