Hunter Lane | Rosanna

Another Saturday, another breakfast date!

The upgrade to Rosanna train station makes it easy to get to Hunter Lane by public transport and I was very excited to have breakfast here after scrolling social media to see what I might see for breakfast.

I arrived a little earlier they made it so I decided to have a good growth of the menu and observe the dishes that we’re coming from the kitchen. I have to say I was very excited to order something as I literally liked the look of every single thing that you see. The menu has a great variety of sweet and savoury options, the problem is choosing which one you want to order, my usual go to option is savoury and I thought I’ll stick with that one today. I was hungry so I decided to get quite a substantial dish and ordered The Big Hunt ($21.90) My dates were trying to choose between a couple of options but when one saw the Brekkie Board ($23.90) come out to another table her head was immediately turned and she decided to order that one. The third dish was Hunter’s Garden ($19.90). I am still on the matcha latte bandwagon and ordered one for myself. When the matcha latte arrived all I could taste was cinnamon and I am not a fan of cinnamon so unfortunately I did not drink it and ordered a long black instead.

Interestingly breakfast arrived separately with my dish arriving last, to be honest we didn’t really mind as we were focused on the breakfast board and all of the little dishes at was made up from. This dish text so many boxes as it has quite a variety of food, small portions, great flavours and it is visually stunning. The little to your party on this dish with me a great breakfast on its own, the eggs were perfectly poached in the seasoning on top of them was Grant everything is delicious going to the fresh juice that was enjoyed at the end.

Sitting beside the huge breakfast board, my dish looks rather small however I found it quite filling. There was a great portion of bacon on my plate and additional salty flavours from the halloumi. The eggs were perfectly poached and the kale was lightly crispy. The combination of all of these flavours together in addition to being cooked very well made a great dish also.

Does this look healthy or what! This little garden was tasty and filling! The presentation of the dish was made by the purple cauliflower. It was certainly the smallest of the dishes but enjoyed all the same.
