With an abundance of great Asian cuisine available on Victoria Street, it comes as no surprise that it is a busy place. That said, there is always room for a new spot amongst the usual suspects. I was delighted to be invited to the winter launch menu at Minh Minh in Richmond. The restaurant was packed and closed to the public on such a cold evening.
We were welcomed with a glass of bubbles and took a seat at our table. We could choose a starter and men and decided to get different options so that we could test more things on the menu and share our food. There is quite a lot of seafood on the menu and unfortunately I wasn’t able to test that due to allergies what what we did test was pretty delicious.
I was very impressed with the speedy service as we were finished around an hour later, considering there were 50 + people there it was a very impressive service.
To begin we ordered the Vegetarian Spring Rolls and the Yummy Quail. The vegetable spring rolls where a little oily for my test but I absolutely loved the Yummy Quail.

For mains we ordered the East Meets West ($19) which was probably my favourite dish of the evening. The chicken was tender and juicy and ever so fresh!
We also ordered the Phat Bai Ka Phrao ($19) which was a Laos style beef stir fry. There was a great portion of beef in this dish and the flavour was amazing!

Thank you so much to the team at Minh Minh in Richmond for such a wonderful evening!
