I am not one for celebrating Valentine’s Day and think of it as more of a Hallmark holiday, we shouldn’t need reminding to plan a fun date night. Over the past few weeks, I have been out and about in Melbourne and wanted to share some recent date nights that I would recommend. These ideas are perfect to spend time with your partner or best pals.
Moonlight Cinema @ Botanical Gardens, South Yarra

The Moonlight Cinema in the Botanical Gardens is a great date night option. We recently enjoyed gold grass tickets to see Dune. Tickets can be purchased online via the Moonlight Cinema website. We enjoyed a delicious pizza and cocktails from the Tia Maria Apelino Bar.
Saintly Sacred Vaults @ Riverland Bar, CBD

The SAINTLY Sacred Vaults will hold a temporary residence at Riverland Bar every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am until the 28th of February. The bar is located along the Yarra River and is the perfect outdoor venue along the rivers edge.
Strike @ Melbourne Central, CBD

Did you know that Strike offers more than just bowling? We recently had fun at Augmented Darts which is darts as you imagine, but with interactive games projected directly onto the dartboard.
Happy Place @ Crown, CBD

Happy Place is full of fun photo opportunities in a Confetti Dome, Rubber Ducky Bathtub and a Cookie Room that smells of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. These are just a few of the rooms you can experience and it certainly makes for a fun date night.
High Tea @ Crown Conservatory , CBD

Crown Conservatory offers the best high tea I have experienced in Melbourne. The venue is beautiful and the high tea itself was delicious. It is offered weekends only but there are options to book everything from lunch to a buffet.
Cork & Canvas, South Melbourne

I experienced Cork & Canvas as a birthday celebration with some girlfriends. Not only was it a great way to hang out together in a fun environment, the music was great, we took advantage of the BYO champagne and we had fun.
