Yet another Baked Eggs because the obsession is real! This one had a rich tomato sauce with chunks of feta through it. I really enjoyed the dukkah which had crunch, texture and spice to the dish. You can also opt to add chorizo if you wish, I didn't on this occasion. How vibrant are the colours in this dish? I ordered the Smashed Kabocha Pumpkin + Bacon ($19.50 & $5) for brekkie. I loved the beetroot hummus and pumpkin in particular and I was glad I added some bacon to the dish also. With two pieces of multigrain toast on the plate, it was so filling and I didn't quite finish it. I can't describe how excited I was to get stuck into this dish. I always want to order a sweet dish for brekkie to change things up but I always chicken out! The Shakshuka obsession continues! This is the Frijoles Rancheros ($18), otherwise known as South American Baked Eggs. What makes this so tasty is the slow cooked mix of chorizo, eggplant and beans in a chilli tomato sauce.
