Over the past few weeks, I have been out and about in Melbourne and wanted to share some recent date nights that I would recommend. These ideas are the perfect way to spend time with your partner or best pals.
Australia’s Leading seltzer brand, SAINTLY HARD SELTZER has just launched their much anticipated Sacred Vaults at Riverland Bar. This is Riverland Bar like you’ve never seen before, building on the existing Riverland greenery to create the SAINTLY Blessed Garden, a refreshing space to enjoy a Saintly or two during the summer.
Melbourne is finally open and what a way to kick off the silly season than with a visit to a stunning new city rooftop bar. It’s a short ride to the 13th floor to Fable Melbourne to experience uninterrupted city views, a Greek inspired menu and a sophisticated cocktail menu.
Melbourne, how nice is it to get out for brunch again! I was excited to go out for breakfast by myself due to having Monday off. Check out the beautiful new cafe that has opened beside me!
There isn’t a more classic dessert than a crumble! This particular recipe came about based on the fruit that was left at the end of the week. I thought the granny smith apples and raspberries would balance the sweetness of the pears.
It is so sad to see so many amazing cafes clos their doors during these uncertain times. Thankfully we can still get our coffee and brunch fix delivered to our door. This means we get to support local business and protect our community from the spread of this nasty virus. This list will be updated regularly!
Porgie and Mr Jones looks small from the outside, step inside and you will be surprised! There is a beautiful outdoor courtyard with some great space and many diners had their dogs with them which I am sure is very convenient to pet owners.
We browsed the menu and ended up asking for recommendations as we had no idea what we wanted to get! We started with coffees and ordered two savoury and one sweet dish to share.
We killed two birds with one stone when we ventured to Brighton for the day, hitting up the beach and The Temper Trap. The Temper Trap is a lovely cafe in the village of Brighton with easy access and lots of parking available. We also loved that it was a 4min drive to the beach, yes, we were lazy and could have walked.
