One of the first things I wanted to do in Dubai was to get away from the glitz and glamour of the city and experience a desert safari. The thought of driving out into the dunes and having some fun before an evening BBQ grabbed me! It is a perfect half day trip for a unique evening with locals exploring the local culture.
Dubai….what an experience! When flying from Australia to Europe, there is a high chance of a stopover in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi so why not get off thee plane and see it for yourself. The first thing I’ll say is about the climate. While it is lovely to leave Australia in winter, you need to be prepared for an unbearable heat in Dubai if you go in July/August.
Tasmania is often described as a state similar to stereotypical Ireland; windy roads, lots of green and cold! At this time of the year, a visit to Tasmania will guarantee all of those things.
As I dream of the warmer weather, I can’t help but want to be back in Queensland! I visited very recently (Read More) with Mini Me and a friend from home. When booking a few day trips, one of those trips was the ‘South Island Tour’ as I had previously done the ‘North Island Tour’ (Read More) over the Christmas break.
For anyone who has made a Bucket List, it is highly likely that the Great Barrier Reef is on it! It most certainly was on my list and as it was an adventure C.C and Mini Me also wanted to do, we couldn’t wait to book it.
