Solo Pasta has opened in Melbourne!

Pasta by the metre? I can already hear you screaming yes!

I had my first experience of Solo Pasta thanks to a good friend introducing us to it while in Perth recently.
There was genuine excitement when I heard a store was opening here in Fitzroy and couldn’t wait to visit.

For entrees:

Arancini ($15)
I’m a huge arancini lover, they were fresh and crunchy with every bite. They’re accompanied by a yummy dipping sauce also.

Lemon Pepper Calamari ($16)
Due to an allergy, I didn’t have this but little sister was very happy not to share. She said it was the nicest Calamari she has had in a long time and referred to the ‘little chilli kick’ too.

When it came to pasta, we over ordered but great news, you can box it up and keep enjoying it the next day! There are three metres of pasta in each dish and three flavours to choose from. I enjoyed every pasta dish, if I had to choose a favourite, I would pick the Basil Pesto..delish!

For mains:

Tomato Base with classic pasta: Slow cooked shredded beef ($26)

Cream Base with spinach pasta: Curry Chicken ($26)

Olive Base with beetroot pasta: Basil Pesto ($26)

We sipped:
I can’t go past an Aperol Spritz, it’s a must! Little sister had a mojito…safe to say we didn’t leave a sip behind.

Thanks to the lovely team at Solo Pasta for treating us to such an amazing experience and feast.
