The Burj Khalifa has to be one of the most well known buildings in the world. It currently stands as the tallest building in the world but the reality of this cannot be acknowledged or believed until you are standing in front of it.
One of the first things I wanted to do in Dubai was to get away from the glitz and glamour of the city and experience a desert safari. The thought of driving out into the dunes and having some fun before an evening BBQ grabbed me! It is a perfect half day trip for a unique evening with locals exploring the local culture.
Dubai….what an experience! When flying from Australia to Europe, there is a high chance of a stopover in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi so why not get off thee plane and see it for yourself. The first thing I’ll say is about the climate. While it is lovely to leave Australia in winter, you need to be prepared for an unbearable heat in Dubai if you go in July/August.
We hadn’t been in Bali for long and I was already falling in love! Bali is a beautiful country to explore the sights as well as the culture. We got off to a great start to our day tours on Day 1 , now it’s time for Day 2! Our day started off with an 8am pick up at the hotel.
We woke up early the morning of our first tour so that we had time to have breakfast downstairs in our hotel before our pick up time of 8am.
We left Perth on a flight at 745pm to Bali on Friday night. The flight is not very long making it very appealing to those of us who want to get away for a long weekend from Australia.
