O’hey Cafe, Coburg

We visited O’hey Cafe in Coburg this weekend and tried one of the best brisket dishes I’ve had…big call, I know.

  • The cafe is pretty accessible with parking on nearby side streets, however with Bottomless Brunch on offer, you might want to leave the car at home.
  • Service was warm and friendly, we were seated and sipping on coffees in no time.

Shakshouka

This was a special addition to the menu. Delicious tomato sauce with chunks of chorizo, feta and two eggs. The side of fresh bread to mop up the sauce was perfect!

Brisket

This dish brings theatre and great flavours together. I love a good potato hash, especially when topped with smoky brisket and perfectly poached eggs. You can see how this dish arrived over on my Instagram, it’s an amazing insight into how they manage to bring that smokey brisket scent from the kitchen to the table.

Thanks to O'hey Cafe for having us. For more pics, visit Lifestylebylily on Instagram
